based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Established in 1983 by Joann Reckling, Protrans
(formerly Professional Transcribing) has been a leading provider of
transcription services to healthcare professionals utilizing Certified
Medical Transcriptionists (CMT) who operate by the standards of conduct
dictated by the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT).
