Transcriptionist Positions:
We are always looking for qualified experienced transcriptionists. If
you are a Medical Language Specialist and have current acute care hospital,
medical, radiology or legal experience, we want to hear from you. Candidates
specifically should have the following qualities:

Transcriptionists must have an in-depth understanding of the medical profession with its terminology, anatomy and physiology, processes and treatments.
- Transcriptionists must be able to translate abbreviations and have the ability to reference terms through the use of printed and electronic reference materials.

Transcriptionists must have an excellent command of the English language and be familiar with the usage of proper punctuation and grammar, as well as experience with appropriate formatting in Word as it is required for each document.

Transcriptionists must possess a high degree of optimism and a desire to get the job done no matter what. A seasoned transcriptionist will be able to handle dictation by a difficult dictator perhaps with a foreign accent, one having background sounds, and also being able to edit the dictation in an accurate manner to more completely convey the dictator’s meaning.
